Our pieces are crafted from 100% linen and thoughtfully made to last. Each curtain, pillow, and shade simply needs a bit of mindful care to keep it looking its best over time. Below you’ll find everything you need to know to clean, hang, and maintain your Draperie pieces so they continue to soften, age, and wear in just the way they’re meant to.
Cleaning & Care
All of our fabrics are 100% Linen , either printed or woven. Spot clean or dry clean only, do not machine wash or tumble dry, as linen may shrink when wet.
Set-Up & Maintenance
CURTAINS
All curtains are designed for rod-and-ring style rods. Hang the included drapery hooks on the rings, and voilà! To remove shipping wrinkles, lightly mist with water or use a hand steamer.
For best placement accuracy, wait until your curtains arrive before installing the rod—hold the rod with curtains in place, mark where the panels skim the floor (or window sill for cafes), then mount your hardware.
Shake out curtains once a year to prevent dust buildup.
PILLOWS
If you purchase our down and feather inserts they require regular fluffing to stay plump. Shake or gently toss pillows to recirculate air into the filling.
If ordering your own inserts, size up 1–2" for a fuller look.
HARDWARE
Mounting instructions for hardware are included with your order. Clean with a duster or damp cloth. Do not use spray cleaner on the rods as it may impact the finish. For more information check out our hanging instructions on The Fold.
Shades
Mounting instructions for hardware are included with your order. All shades come standard as cordless, gently lift and lower from the center of the shade - do not tug or pull too hard as this may damage the internal mechanism.
